Environment IoT Solutions (EIS) Privacy Policy

  • The EIS Privacy Policy describes how EIS collects, uses, and shares your personal data. This Privacy Policy covers how EIS handles personal data whether you interact with us on our websites or iOS Apps. EIS may also link to third parties.  EIS Privacy Policy does not apply to how third parties define personal data or how they use it. We encourage you to read their privacy policies and know your privacy rights before interacting with them. 

  • Personal Data: EIS, we treat data that relates to an identified or identifiable individual or that is linked or linkable to them as “personal data”. This means that data that directly identifies you, such as your name, email, and phone number is personal data, and data that does not directly identify you, but that can reasonably be used to identify you, such as, the serial number of your device. Aggregated data is considered non-personal data for the purposes of this Privacy Policy. 

  • Privacy Rights: EIS provides may use your name, email, phone number, building address and the MAC Address of your EIS device.  This data is used to install, configure, monitor, collect, and report Life Safety, Air Quality, and Event services that have been purchased.  EIS respects your ability to know, access, change, and at the termination of services delete your data. 

  • Exercising Privacy Rights: To help protect the security of your personal data, you must sign-in to the EIS Dashboard or App.  If you want to obtain a copy of the personal data provided you can make a request at sales@enviotsolutions.com.  

  • Deleted Data: In the event personal data has been removed, either from a direct request or termination of services, a record of the transaction will be maintained for a period of 5 years.  


  • Additional Data Collected:


    • Account Information necessary to establish and maintain purchased services


    • Detailed, summary and historical data necessary to provide the purchased services

  • Other Information Provided: Information you post via social media channels is not covered under the EIS Privacy Policy.

  • EIS Partners: EIS may validate information provided to business partners prior to the provisioning of procured services.

  • Service Providers: EIS may engage third parties to act as our services providers and perform certain tasks on our behalf, such as processing or storing data, including personal data, and in connection with delivery purchased services.  EIS Service Providers are obligated to handle personal data consistent with this Privacy Policy.  They cannot use the personal data shared for their own purposes and must delete or return the personal data once our request has been fulfilled.

  • Protection of Personal Data: EIS uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data, which take into account the nature of personal data, data processing, and the threats posed. 

  • Cookies and Other Technologies: EIS websites only use performance and functional cookies and technologies, defined as Strictly Necessary Cookies that are required to provide a specific feature or service that has been purchased.

  • Privacy Questions: If you have questions about the EIS Privacy Policy or privacy practices, please contact us at sales@enviotsolutions.com.  In most cases, all substantive contacts receive a response within seven days. In other cases, we may require additional information or will let you know if more time to respond is needed.

  • Material Change to this Privacy Policy:  Material Changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted at https://www.enviotsolutions.com a minimum of one week in advance.
